Where This Came From

I wrote the first plan on a notepad, in a cell.

I didn't know anything about LLCs, P&L statements, or business credit. I learned all of it the slow, expensive way — by getting it wrong first, then figuring out what I should have done instead.

I got out and slept in a minivan. I sold hair out of the back of a car at LA malls. For a stretch, home was a tire warehouse behind LAX. Eleven years later, that one page is Hair Maiden India — a real company with a real showroom.

This workbook is everything I wish someone had handed me on day one.
