Rivers & waterfalls
Swimming holes, waterfalls, river stops and places worth pulling over for.
Chiang Pai is what I call these runs from Chiang Mai to Pai, and I’m opening them up to a few people who want to experience Northern Thailand in a more spontaneous way—rivers, mountain roads, hidden stops, cafés, local food, yoga, wellness, bikes, viewpoints and whatever interesting thing we find next.
No guide fee. No sales pitch. Everyone handles their own personal trip expenses. The exchange is simple: good energy, respect, curiosity and a solid group.
This is for travelers who would rather stop because a river looks good, a tiny café smells amazing, somebody tells us about a hidden viewpoint, or the group feels like staying an extra hour somewhere. We’ll have a direction—not a clipboard.
The exact trip changes. That’s the point. These are the kinds of experiences I want the group to be able to mix together depending on the day.
Swimming holes, waterfalls, river stops and places worth pulling over for.
Mountain cafés, roadside food, local favorites, markets and places with personality.
Yoga, recovery, hot springs, massage, breathwork or just a quiet reset when the group wants it.
Optional motorbike or dirt-bike experiences through properly operated local rental/activity providers.
Pai Canyon, mountain viewpoints, short walks, sunrise, sunset and scenic detours.
Small businesses, independent shops and people I know or meet along the route whenever it makes the experience better.
“The trip should feel like you met the right people at the right time—not like you bought a package.”
I’m not trying to be a traditional tour company. I like traveling, connecting people, finding interesting places and letting a day develop naturally. If that sounds better to you than rushing through a checklist, you’ll probably fit the group.
I’d rather keep the groups comfortable than make them huge. Message me, tell me a little about yourself, and we’ll see whether the timing and vibe line up.
WhatsApp is easiest. Tell me when you’ll be in Chiang Mai or Pai and roughly how long you have.
Depending on the trip, people may drive separately, ride their own properly rented bike, or arrange transportation independently.
We agree on the basic direction and a few anchor stops, then keep the rest flexible.
Respect the places, support good local businesses, look out for each other and leave room for spontaneous detours.
Send me a quick message with your dates, where you’re from, whether you ride, and what kind of things you’re most into—nature, cafés, wellness, food, bikes, nightlife, photography, or just exploring.
